Land Before Time Analysis Pt2

Description

When I first uploaded the Land Before Time Soundtrack Analysis, I left a huge area blank. This entire section I could not match exactly with any track that existed on the Soundtrack, so I suggested that it might have been a re-recording of some type.

After some thought, I think it is probably more likely that the "Lost Track" is made up of small parts of the other tracks that have been sped up (although I think some bits have been added; the horn that plays in several of Spike's scenes seems unique to the film, and it's not uncommon for a Soundtrack to contain music different from the final version).

I did make several notes about this area when I was first drawing up the old analysis, but they were too confusing to really build on. When I decided to revisit the whole thing, I found that the first of my two notes was illegible (as it was written quickly, and consisted of many quick references to other scenes/tunes that I could no longer recall the meaning behind). The second was a draft of the final picture, and consisted of several mostly legible notes that detailed my perceptions of this track.

In case I don't ever finish this analysis, and also because several areas have been identified, but make no sense out of the context of my note, I have made this picture; a quick redrawing in Microsoft Paint of my original draft notes. Hopefully, this sheds some more light on the mysteries of the original soundtrack of The Land Before Time.

It contains several notes I made when this information was all fresh in my memory. For instance, E, F & G appear the way they do in that image because it sounded like an instrumental of If We Hold On Together that repeated three times, before becoming climactic on the last one.
