RULE: Use the letters and numbers in your DA name for the first letter of your favorite Songs. Ex: Below. When tagging others, you need the same amount of deviants as the letters of your username. I.E: AMCAlmaron is 10 letters and I've tagged 10 deviants. See what I mean?

Ugh, this could have gone better...so many of my favourite songs didn't start with letters from my user name (Bohemian Rhapsody, why?)! I'm going to do things differently, then. Instead of picking my top songs, I'm going to pick random songs from albums that I'm fond of and which I think other people should listen to!

A - Anthem - Chess
An amazing track from an epic musical (and the Josh Groban version has to be the only thing I've ever heard that's made me feel patriotic...for the Soviet Freaking Union!)...Endgame and The Deal are also well worth listening to!

M - A Misunderstood Man - Cliff Richard's Heathcliff
A concept album that's special to my family because we used to listen to it all the time. Bronte Purists hate this because it only focuses on the flashback part of Wuthering Heights rather than the bits with everyone's kids, but feh, the music's still good...and The Gambling Song is a fun song on this album to karaoke along to!

C - The Colour Of Roses - Sand And Water
Oh god, talk about music to slit your wrists to...the artist wrote these songs after learning her husband was dying of cancer. IT SHOWS. But anyway, several of the tunes on this album are very heartrending and beautiful at the same time...Sand and Water and Say Goodnight, for instance (the latter of which inspired part of my fanfic Larth's Weyr).

A - As Long As You're Mine - Wicked!
Ah, Wicked...yeah, everyone probably knows about this by now (especially :iconddraigtanto:, as I've suggested that this tune could easily fit a romantic scene between Ddraig and Alexander a few times now), so I don't need to say too much. But if this is the first time you've heard of this musical, go listen to it on YouTube or something, and listen to Idina Menzel belt out songs that are way better than Frozen's mediocre tunes...Defying Gravity is of course the best, closely followed by For Good.

L - The Lighthouse - Casper Soundtrack
My favourite composer...James Horner. Seriously, this guy composed the soundtracks for a number of my favourite movies, and also for some movies that I grew up watching (Batteries Not Included, An American Tail, The Land Before Time (try listening to Whispering Winds without tearing up inside...hell, just go to YouTube; half the comments will be saying that!), We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story, Titanic...), so I always get a nostalgic buzz listening to his tunes. Casper's soundtrack is just beautiful, even if a lot of the tracks end up sounding fairly similar, and I almost used One Last Wish on this list instead, until I decided I wanted to reference Cats Don't Dance. The Uncles Swing/End Credits is also very good...

M - Meet The Devil - Phantom Of The Paradise
Heh, this one's a stretch...this track's not even on the album (it's a single verse that plays in the background of a scene)! But I had to get Phantom of the Paradise on the list somehow...the music on it is just great! The Phantom's songs are beautiful (Faust, Phantom's Theme/Beauty And The Beast, Old Souls), and the villain's songs (Goodbye Eddie, Goodbye, Upholstery (a Beach Boys-style ripoff of Faust), Somebody Super Like You (a heavy metal (well, what the director considered heavy metal) ripoff of the Phantom's Theme) and Life At Last (a ripoff of Old Souls) are great fun to sing along to...and The Hell Of It is awesome as well. Just listen to the whole thing.

A - After You've Gone - Benny Goodman
Well, this is obscure...chances are none of you will have seen it, but there's an obscure old Disney film called Make Mine Music that was made during wartime when most of their animators were too busy to produce their traditional films. It's a whole bunch of musical shorts and comedies by various artists...and After You've Gone is an instrumental segment with all sorts of musical themed crazy visuals. There's some other good ones; Casey At The Bat is fun to watch, Johnny Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet is great too, The Martins And The Coys (if you can find it; Disney censored it in most DVD releases...good thing I've got it on tape!) is catchy as hell, and The Whale Who Wanted To Sing At The Met is awesome and quite shocking for a Disney film, because it doesn't end the way you'd expect...

R - Resolution - Mass Effect III Soundtrack
A beautiful track from one of my favourite game series...don't really need to say much more. It's Mass Effect; we all played it, we all loved it, and we all were let down by the ending, but at least the music is amazing. There's plenty of other epic tunes from the game, though...I Was Lost Without You is quite sweet, I'm Proud Of You is quite emotional...

O - Our Time Has Come - Cats Don't Dance
Another obscure one! This is an odd little animated film that's full of funny animals and cartoon comedy, but which is really about racism in early films...the story is that a talented cat named Danny goes to Hollywood in the 1930s to become a famous film star, only to find that the only role he can get is as an background cat in a Shirley Temple-esque film about Noah's Ark...as his co-star puts it, "Cats Don't Dance in Hollywood, they just meow." But anyway, the tunes are catchy, and I was very happy when I finally tracked this one down on CD!

N - Normandy - Miracle Of Sound
Last, but not least, we have Miracle Of Sound, a very skilled musician who makes tunes based off video games! And they're AWESOME. There's thousands out there worth listening too...check out his page on TvTropes, find the ones based off the games you've played, and listen to them! My personal favourites include Sovngarde Song (Skyrim), Joker's Song (Arkham City), Little Sister and Dream Of The Sky (BioShock series), Shadows In The Moonlight (Assassin's Creed II), Wasteland Soul (Fallout 3) and You Died (Dark Souls).

Ah, that was fun! Right, now to find some victims...I mean people to tag! Let's see...who do I speak with the most these days?

:iconaliyaria:
:iconskatergators:
:iconmikethesergal:
:iconddraigtanto: (Yeah, he's already got to do it, but hey, nobody says he has to do it twice, after all! Right, one down...)
:iconkeizerharm:
:iconkooskia:
:icongoldengriffiness:
:icongoogynoober-2017:
:iconchocend:
:iconzhidkovv:

Nailed it! And :iconddraigtanto:, you can use my trick...tag the same people twice!

Damn! I have not many favorite songs but a few from foreign musicals and some Russian ones.
